Our Clients in the Spotlight: Door Locks Plus Intersoft Jobs: Sales Positions Wanted We're Sad to See Her Go! Almost a year ago, Lisa Hackle, Director of Projects & Design, had a beautiful baby boy! However, at this time Lisa has decided to leave Intersoft to focus on her new family. This brings both cheers and tears to our eyes since we selfishly don't want to lose her. Lisa has been with Intersoft since the beginning of its inception in 1996, bringing to us amazing graphic and organizational skills. Don't fret though...Lisa will still be working closely with Intersoft as a freelancer and most of all, confidant. All of us here at Intersoft wish Lisa the best with being a "Mommy", one of the most important jobs in the world! Back to Top Promotions on the Rise! Intersoft is happy to inform you that two of our most known employees, Angela Iacofano & Jessica Sudo, have both been given promotions! Angela Iacofano has been promoted to the Web Design Project Manager. Most of you know her by her charming personality and warm voice! Angela has been with Intersoft since 2001 and is an expert in making a website a success, from conception to completion and beyond! Angela is responsible for the day-to-day web development management of projects. "Angela's organizational skills and exceptional customer service makes her the prime candidate for this position", states Louis Muttillo, President of Intersoft. Angela has a Multimedia certificate from Lakeland Community College. Jessica Sudo has also been promoted to the Manager of Operations. Jessica is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. Almost all of you know Jessica as the troubleshooting wizard for support problems and questions and the friendly voice on the other end of the phone line! Jessica has been with Intersoft since 1999. She is an expert in web development and hosting. But don't get too sad, Jessica will still be available to answer all your questions! Congratulations and best wishes for continued success to Angela & Jessica! Back to Top- Tech Tips: An eCard from a Friend Or a Virus from a Spammer? By: Jessica Sudo You may have noticed that over the past few months you probably have become pretty popular, receiving eCards from your friends or old school mates...Well, at least you thought they were from friends! These "eCards" are not your friendly cute graphic cards but are spam emails that request you go to the website URL to "pick up" the eCard from that so-called "old friend". That website actual points to servers hosting a variety of malware viruses which secretly download viruses onto your PC. One particular malware that is downloaded is called the "Storm" Trojan, which is a very aggressive virus that hijacks your computer and acts as an attacker bot. These eCards may even look like they come from trusted sources such as, Hallmark or a known charity. If you want to make sure that an eCard you receive is legitimate, go directly to the organizations website and click on the "Pick Up Card" page, then enter in your ID Code that came in the email. If the eCard is real you'll be able to view the card, if the card is fake, well, you wont have a card but at least your computer will be safe. If you received a similar email and went to the website we highly suggest running your Anti-Virus program immediately.
