TECHNICAL SUPPORT/HELP DESK & PROJECT DEVELOPMENT The Intersoft Group, Inc. is a 17-year old, award winning Web Design & Development firm based in Beachwood, Ohio. We are currently seeking an entry level position for Technical Support/Help Desk & Project Development. Job Requirements: Technical Support/Help Desk Requirements Answering and troubleshooting first level support phone calls and emails. Handles initial Customer Service requests. Provide walkthroughs/training on our products. Off hours and/or weekend work may be required. Project Development Requirements Responsible for the coding and layout of web site pages using HTML, CSS & Javascripts, including content placement, font colors and typeface and image slicing. Train customers on how to use their web application and answer any questions they may have on the web application. Prepare/create GIF’s for use as buttons, headers, bullets, miscellaneous images that streamline the main graphical layout. Think freely and use own judgment on the best ways to organize, navigate and implement content. Test for consistency across the site, spelling, HTML validity & active links. Miscellaneous Requirements Other miscellaneous duties, such as, but not limited to surfing the web to research topics when necessary; assist in sales, marketing & advertising; assist in office work; attend advertising meetings to brainstorm ideas, attend trade shows and complete any additional tasks or responsibilities that management assigns. Skills/Requirements: We will train on most of the job requirements however we are looking for individuals who have: Excellent communication via telephone, email and in person. Must be a Self-Starter and able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced working environment with the ability to multi-task. Good professional judgment. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability and desire to learn new Web Application products and understand the client’s need for it. Good computer skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft XP/Vista Operating systems. Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, ASP.Net, and FTP clients a plus. Understanding of e-commerce, e-business, hosting, Internet terms, technologies and protocols. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus. Knowledge of Visual Studio a plus.
